Neptune's Tiger History Team: Week 2 day 1

Week 2 day 1

What we do in class this day is that mr rick give us an introduction in ww1

To be a great nation we need to colonise
In 1800 both france and Britain had large empires, and continued to grow during the 19th century
in 1870, Germany and Italy become united countries for the 1st time, and both wanted to develop overseas empire
Another catalyst that will eventually be the greatest war in the world anyone had ever knew.
Strong competition between European powers for expansion, especially in Africa.
By 1914, large parts of the world were controlled by various eurpoean powers
The competition caused several disputes Moroxxo Incident in 1906 and 1911 between France and Germany.
Race of dreadnoughts.
In 1906, Britain launched the HMS dreadnought, which started the race to build stronger, bigger and faster battleships.

The teacher for that day was tristan. He told us more info about the world war 1

This is the picture of when Tristan finished his team teaching

Each day, you will have to submit photos and graphics of the day's work, as well as text covering these 4 essential points:
1. What was the topic of the day and what important parts were learned? Demonstrate understanding and application.

The topic of the day was that the history behind WW1 (world war 1) was that both France and Britain was the top leading country in Europe because that they had colonize many part countries. Their armies were enormous and was ready for an invasion anytime they please. We also learned that in a way Germany only trying to keep themselves safe by uniting with Italy and creating an army of their own. But Germany's action got took to a bad point of view, that let Britain and France to keep a lookout to Germany by creating more military forces which will trigger the first world war.
2. Critical thinking: was there a discussion? BHQ's? Give an analysis and evaluation; compare and contrast the scenario and find evidence of it happening elsewhere? Demonstrates analysis and evaluation.

Why military? why don't they just compete  against resources or revolutions or financial, which is more effective and peaceful nowadays.
3. What was done, who did it and how was it assessed?
the LdL teaching for today was delivered by Tristan L and he had donned his first LdL teaching for semester 2 with his new team, Neptune's Tiger. It was assessed quite truly.
4. How was the team performance? What can be done to improve (how are we implementing Kaizen daily).

The team performance was okay for this day, everybody was listening no errors...well maybe a little or most, but by looking at the big picture, the team did pretty fine. it could be improved by showing more clearance about the teaching.
