week 10 day 1
1. What was the topic of the day and what important parts were learned? Demonstrate understanding and application.
For this week, the first day, we had to listen to others present about what we have learned, since there are some students who haven't presented yet. We couldn't open our laptops since we had to listen to the other team and students present infront of the class. They were timed to exactly 3 minutes, if they didn't reach 3 minutes, their scores would be deducted by 10 points.
2. Critical thinking: was there a discussion? BHQ's? Give an analysis and evaluation; compare and contrast the scenario and find evidence of it happening elsewhere? Demonstrates analysis and evaluation.
There were no discussions, however, the teacher did ask some questions regarding the slides that each student had put up. The students were asked so that the teacher could know if they really understand the topic given and if they really understand the slides. Some students could answer descriptively, other can't really answer, they just give simple response towards the question given.
3. What was done, who did it and how was it assessed?
We had to listen to each and every group present about world war. Each team had to grade others. We were given a sheet of paper, one sheet for each group that present and we were asked to score them 1 out of 4 points, and one student was asked to time the presentation, to make sure if its exactly 3 minutes or less than that. Some students even went far from 3 minutes, since they didn't really know how fast/slow they were going.
4. How was the team performance? What can be done to improve (how are we implementing Kaizen daily).
The team performance was great. Each time someone is giving a presentation, we discuss on the scores that we have to give to that certain person, we take in each others opinion on what the score should be based on the person presenting infront. We can improve by listening clearly to the person presenting and judge by what they did, not just because they're our friends, we give them a high score, we judge by their knowledge and understanding towards the topic given.
this is us, after finishing the grading for each presentation.
