week 17 day 2
1. What was the topic of the day and what important parts were learned? Demonstrate understanding and application.
Today, we basically do the same thing as 2 days ago, but the answers that we are writing is slowly improving. From a 2 to a 4 and 0 to a 3. We discussed what will be in the finals next week and how to answer the questions rightly, so that we are able to get full markings. The teacher had given us all a question that we have to answer in 10 minutes, possibly 3 paragraphs.
2. Critical thinking: was there a discussion? BHQ's? Give an analysis and evaluation; compare and contrast the scenario and find evidence of it happening elsewhere? Demonstrates analysis and evaluation.
There was a few discussions held. Again, we were asked to mark another students paper, some of us discussed among each other weather the answers that the other students gave was right or wrong, because we needed other people's opinion so that we mark the answer correctly and not what we think is right. By doing this, we learn to have critical thinking, stating other outcomes or possibilities that might occur.
3. What was done, who did it and how was it assessed?
We were asked to answer questions based on the format that we have to write on and it will be assessed by other students from other teams (possibly a different student that checks your own paper, not the student who had already checked it 2 days before). The question wasn't that complicated, however, the way we have to write the answers were. There was a whole format layed out and we still had to memorize some sources so that we can put it on the answer.
4. How was the team performance? What can be done to improve (how are we implementing Kaizen daily).
There wasn't that much team work, since we were only asked to answer a question that the teacher had displayed on the slide. The only teamwork available was when we discussed if a certain answer was to be marked right or wrong. So, as a whole, the teamwork was fairly okay.
This is a picture of us researching our sources for the question given on the screen/slide.
