week 17 day 1
1. What was the topic of the day and what important parts were learned? Demonstrate understanding and application.
During this day, we had to practice writing answers for a test that is going to be held next week, since the last test that we did didn't go very well, we needed more practice on how to write the answers for a certain question. There is a format given on how to write the answers in schoology, and we just needed to memorize sources and extra information so that we can put it on the answers when we write the actual test.
2. Critical thinking: was there a discussion? BHQ's? Give an analysis and evaluation; compare and contrast the scenario and find evidence of it happening elsewhere? Demonstrates analysis and evaluation.
There was indeed a discussion on how to write the answers specifically. We had to follow several instructions and have atleast 3 paragraphs. This certain history test is different from any other tests that we have taken, since you have to answer the questions a certain way, if you don't, they will deduct points. We need to think critically and have a large understanding towards the topic that is going to appear on the test. We need to analyze the questions and see some sources that is in the booklet given, and possibly give some sources of our own, so that there is more proof of your opinion.
3. What was done, who did it and how was it assessed?
We had to make questions, for the other team to answer, and vise versa. We have to answer it a certain way, and later, other students would mark what we have written. Some even got 0/7, since they didn't follow the instructions very well and did not provide any sources that has to be there. At first, no one got a perfect score, but that slowly changed once the teacher started explaining the ways to answer the given question.
4. How was the team performance? What can be done to improve (how are we implementing Kaizen daily).
The team performance that day was okay. There was some negative points and some positive ones. Overall, we could work together to make a reasonable question that has to be answered by another team. But what we should work on is agreeing together, because at times, we tend to debate on what the question/answers should be and it rarely works out well.
