Neptune's Tiger History Team: Week 6 Day 2

Week 6 Day 2

On this day, we had already finished all the presentations about World War 1. The teacher had prepared an IT based exam for us to accomplish. The exam was based on the World War 1 presentation the whole class had done just a few days ago, on the first meeting of week 6.

Some questions discussed the topics on Archduke Ferdinands murder along with his wife Sophie, the mechanisms that the soldiers had used, some countries war tactics and some included basic timelines.

1. What was the topic of the day and what important parts were learned? Demonstrate understanding and application.

Basically, what we did for today (week 6 day 2) was continue on with the ones who haven't presented yet. We still have to grade each of the students based on their voice, slides, etc. The range of the score is 1-10, for this day, we have learned lots of extra informations that we can use in our own presentation. We can learn new things that we haven't even learned and we can put those informations on our course work file that is going to be handed in later this year.

2. Critical thinking: was there a discussion? BHQ's? Give an analysis and evaluation; compare and contrast the scenario and find evidence of it happening elsewhere? Demonstrates analysis and evaluation.

There was no discussions regarding the presentations. We did not discuss any scores as a group since we had to grade it on our own. We only had to grade each students, not the overall team and the range is only from 1-10. The grades that we gave to each students didn't even pass 8 or 9, it was pretty low since the person in front did not gave it their all, either their voices were low or we couldn't understand what they were saying at all, in result, their score range was from 1-5 only. Some people did great though, even though it didn't reach 8, at least it reached 7 or 6, which means they pass.

3. What was done, who did it and how was it assessed?

The thing that was done in class was like what we did last week. We basically graded each students who haven''t presented 2 days ago. The grading was better on the first class, since some did very well, even reaching to an 8. We did the same thing for over an hour before it was time to leave for recess.

4. How was the team performance? What can be done to improve (how are we implementing Kaizen daily).

There was no team performance this day since all we did was listen to another team present and grade them. But based on this week (class 1 and 2) we have an okay team work, and it can develop into a better one. This team needs to listen to each other and grade each other fairly, not relating with the grudges that other people have on one another.

This is us getting ready to listen to another presentation, and the group behind us is going to

present next
